Youth held with arms, ammo

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a youth with an LG and cartridge from Sadar upazila of the district on Wednesday. The arrestee, Mahbubur Rahman, 19, is a resident of Aladatpur village in the upazila. ASP Saiful Islam, also acting commanding officer of Rab-11, said being tipped-off, a team of the elite force raided the area and arrested Mahbubur around 11:30pm. His other associates managed to flee the scene. Rab later recovered a light-gun (LG) and a cartridge from Mahbubur's possession.
