The UK-returnee, who died in isolation at a Sylhet hospital on Sunday, was not infected with coronavirus, according to a report of Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR).
Samples taken from her body tested negative, Dr Debapada Ray, director of Health, Sylhet division, said, citing the report.
The woman, aged around 61, died of other complications, he added.
She returned from London on March 4 and was suffering from fever, cough and breathing problems and was admitted to the hospital on March 20.
