Two held with firearm

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two people with a pistol, six bullets and two magazines from Domar upazila town in the district yesterday. The arrestees are Rokeya Begum, 25, and Noor Islam, 35, of Barobisha village in the upazila. They are husband and wife. Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-13 raided the area and arrested the duo with the firearm and bullets. A case was filed in this connection, said Officer-in-Charge of Domar Police Station Moazzem Hossain. The arrestees were later produced before a court that sent them to jail.
