Three 'JMB men' held in Sirajganj

Detective Branch (DB) of police detained three suspected members of banned outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Jamua area in Sirajganj early yesterday.

The detainees are Sanaullah, 48, Liakot Ullah, 38, and Barkat Ullah, 30, sons of Abu Bakar Siddique of the area in Raiganj upazila.

Md Waheduzzaman, officer-in-charge of Sirajganj DB police, said acting on a tip-off, the law enforcers raided the area and arrested the trio when they were holding clandestine meeting there to commit crime.

The three siblings were accused in a previous JMB attack incident in Bogra, said the OC.
