State will not forgive vandals of Bangabandhu’s sculpture: law minister

Law Minister Anisul Huq today said the state will not forgive those who vandalised the sculpture of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

"They [sculpture vandals] will be tried as per the prevailing law," the minister said while addressing a programme marking Victory Day at Kosba upazila parishad auditorium through videoconference today.

Addressing opponents of the sculpture, the minister said, "I want to make it clear that they should stop such propaganda. Otherwise, the law will run its course. Then, none of you will be forgiven."
