Stalker jailed

A mobile court on Tuesday sentenced a stalker in Mehendiganj upazila of the district to four months' imprisonment. The convict is Sajal Bepari, 22, son of Abdul Mannan of Ratanpur village in the upazila. Police said Sajal often teased an SSC examinee of Kazirhat Girls' High School on her way to and from school. Locals held Sajal while he was teasing the girl on Tuesday and handed him over to the police. Police produced the arrestee before the court of UNO Tazim Ur Rahman and the court awarder him the jail sentence.
