Speech impaired girl raped

Police arrested a man on charge of raping a speech impaired girl at Shingroad Nayekpara village in Panchagarh Sadar upazila on Sunday. The arrestee is Kaimul Islam, 55, of the area. Police and locals said Kaimul entered the house of the girl, 14, and raped her when she was there alone around 11:00am. Following a case filed by the victim's father, the law enforcers arrested Kaimul, said Mohse Ul Goni, inspector of Panchagarh Police Station. The girl was sent to  Panchagarh Sadar Hospital for medical test, said police.
