Salehpur bridge on Dhaka-Aricha highway reopened after repair

The two-lane Salehpur bridge on Dhaka-Aricha Highway in Aminbazar of Savar was reopened today for commuters after completion of repair work.

The authorities of Roads and Highway Department closed movement of all kinds of vehicle on a lane of the bridge after multiple cracks were found there on January 13, said Shamim Al Mamun, executive engineer of RHD, Dhaka division. 

After completion of repair, all kinds of vehicles can now move on the bridge, he told our Savar correspondent.
