RMG worker with fever and respiratory problem dies in Lalmonirhat

A readymade garment worker suffering from fever, cold and respiratory problems died in Sadar upazila of Lalmonirhat today.

The 40-year-old man breathed his last around 9:30am, said Dr Nirmalendu Roy, civil surgeon of Lalmonirhat.

The man was suffering from fever, cold and respiratory problems for two days after he returned to Bhatpara village from his workplace in Narayanganj, our Lalmonirhat correspondent reports quoting local administration and health officials.

He died at his residence this morning while family members were preparing to take him to a hospital as his physical condition deteriorated, the officials said.

The body was buried at a graveyard this noon under the supervision of the local administration, said the civil surgeon. 

Meanwhile, a team of health officials collected the samples of the deceased and the family members for to test for coronavirus, added the doctor.
