Polythene seized, 4 fined

A mobile court seized illegal polythene bags worth about Tk15 lakh and fined four traders Tk one lakh for storing them in Mithapukur upazila of Rangpur district yesterday. Of the traders, Abdul Kader was fined Tk 30,000, Murad Hossain Tk 20,000, Motaleb Hossain Tk 25,000 and Sekendar Hossain Bulu Tk 20,000. Executive magistrate Mamun Ar-Rashid led the court.
