Outlaw killed by rival party men

A leader of outlawed Purba Banglar Communist Party was hacked to death by rival party men in Vingram area under Santhia upazila of the district yesterday morning. The deceased was identified as Al Amin Hossain, 35, son of Fazlal Mia of the village, police said. Md Abdur Razzak, officer-in-charge of Ataikula Police Station, said the rival party men  hacked Al Amin to death and dumped the body on the dike of the Ichhamati River. Al Amin was accused a in number of cases, including for murder, filed with Santhia and Ataikula police stations, he added.
