Order on compensating Rajib Jun 20

High Court has set June 20 to deliver its verdict on compensating Rajib Hossain, the youth who died after losing a hand between two buses in Dhaka last year.

The bench of Justice JBM Hassan and Justice Md Khairul Alam, which was scheduled to give a verdict today, deferred the verdict date to June 20.

Deputy Attorney General Motaher Hossain Sazu has confirmed The Daily star of the deferral this afternoon, citing a “new dispute over insurance of the vehicles”.

Previously, on May 19, the High Court bench had fixed May 23 (today), for delivering the verdict after concluding hearing on the issue.
