Online lottery for govt school admissions on January 11

Lottery for admissions to 683 government schools across the country from class 1 to 9 will take place on January 11.

The new date was set following a High Court order. Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education issued a notice in this regard yesterday.

Earlier the scheduled date for the digital lottery was set on December 30. But it was temporarily cancelled as a writ petition on the digital lottery system was pending with the High Court.
