One held with jihadi books

Police arrested an Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) activist and seized three jihadi books and a laptop from him at Barobaruihati village under Singra upazila of the district early yesterday.

The arrestee is Mizanur Rahman, 30, son of Mehet Ali Master of the village.

Rafiqul Islam, assistant superintendent of police (ASP) of Natore Sadar Circle, said police arrested the youth and seized some jihadi books from him.

On secret information, a team of police raided Mizan's house and arrested him from there.

Police filed a case against him under the anti-terrorism act.

Mizanur confessed he was as an ABT member, the ASP added.
