One held with firearm

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a youth with a pistol, two magazines and six bullets in Hakimpur upazila of the district yesterday. The arrestee is Md Sumon 25, son of Md Anis of Nowapara village. Acting on a tip-off, a team of Joypurhat Rab raided the village around 11.00am and arrested Sumon with the firearm and bullets. Later, he was handed over to Hakimpur police.
