One held over rape of 13-year-old in Bogura

Police arrested a man in connection with the rape of a 13-year-old girl in Bogura's Shibganj upazila yesterday night.

The accused is Morshedul Islam (19).

The victim's father filed a rape case with Shibganj police station this morning in this connection.

According to the case statement, the victim was returning home last night when one Babu and his associate Morshed stopped on her way and took her to a side of the village. Babu then raped the girl with Morshed's help.
