Night guard strangled

A night guard was strangled in Pabohara area near Kahaloo-Malonca road under Kahaloo upazila early yesterday.
The deceased was Abul Kalam, 48, son of late Abdul Jabbar of Pabohara village in the upazila.
Police and locals said a gang strangled Abul Kalam and stole three transformers from the area.
On information, police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to a hospital morgue for autopsy, said Gaziur Rahman, senior assistant superintendent of police.
