CID has handed over the charge sheet to court police and it will be submitted to the court on January 3, reports our local correspondent quoting Narayanganj Court Police's Inspector Asaduzzaman.

CID Inspector Babul Hossain, also the investigating officer of the case, said they have prepared a 15-page charge sheet where 27 types of evidence were shown.

A hearing on the charge sheet will be held on January 27, he said.

Asaduzzaman said the names of eight Titas employees who were made responsible for the fire for their alleged negligence will be mentioned in another supplementary charge sheet after an approval from the government.

Of the 29 accused, 26 were involved in the mosque management committee, three are DPDC's meter readers and two are electricians.
