Muggers stab trader

Muggers took away Tk 2 lakh after stabbing a trader at Gabindanagar in the district town on Wednesday evening. The injured is Mohammad Ali, 29, son of late Shahabuddin Shaku of Tikapara in the town, and also president of ward No 3 of Jubo League of Thakurgaon municipality. Police said when auto rickshaw trader Ali was returning on a motorbike after collection, a gang allegedly led by one Mazedur Rahman intercepted him in the area and took away the money after stabbing him. He was later admitted to Thakurgoan Sadar Hospital.
