MP Liton's bail extended again

A court here yesterday further extended interim bail of Manjurul Islam Liton, ruling party lawmaker from Gaibandha-1 constituency, till March 7 in a case for shooting a schoolboy of Sundarganj upazila in the district. Senior Judicial Magistrate Muniruzzaman Sikder passed the order when Liton appeared before the court with a petition seeking permanent bail, said advocate Sirajul Islam Babu, the lawmaker's lawyer.
