Man killed by cousin over family feud

A man was allegedly killed by his cousin over family feud at Tarati Purbopara village in Muktagachha upazila of the district Saturday afternoon.

The victim was identified as Rafiz Uddin, 45, son of Mohir Uddin of Tarati Purbopara.

Police quoted locals as saying that Rafiz Uddin and Shamsuddin locked in an altercation over family matters at Rafiz's house around 2:00pm. At one stage, Shamsuddin hit Raifiz on his head with an iron rod, injuring him critically.

Rafiz was rushed to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital where he died.
