Man held with firearm

Police arrested an alleged criminal with a pipe gun and two bullets on Nagorghop High School premises in Manirampur upazila of Jessore district on Sunday night. Jahangir Alam, sub-inspector of Manirampur Police Station, said on secret information, a police team raided the area and arrested Sher Ali with the firearm and bullets. The arrestee was wanted in several cases including one for extortion. A case was filed in this connection.
