Lightning kills one

A fisherman was killed by lightning in Bianibazar upazila of district yesterday.

The deceased was identified as Ajmal Hossain, 32, son of Sahib Ali of Modhurchak village in the upazila. 

Locals said Ajmal was struck by a thunderbolt while fishing at a water body near the village at around 6:00am. He was taken to Bianibazar Upazila Health complex where the doctors declared him dead.
