Lightning kills boy

A minor boy was killed by lightning at Katakgachha village in Fulchhari upazila yesterday. The deceased is Abdus Samad, 13, son of Hazer Ali Pramanik of the village. Locals said a thunderbolt struck Samad while he was working in a paddy field. He was rushed to the upazila health complex where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
