Kid drowns in ditch

A three-year-old boy drowned in a ditch at Khalfalia village in Shailkupa upazila on Friday. The deceased was identified as Tasim, son of Milton Zoarder of the village. Police and family sources said Tasim was playing in the courtyard of their house in the afternoon. At one stage, he fell into a ditch adjacent to their house. Later, locals recovered the body from the ditch.
