Jubo League activist murdered

A local Jubo League activist was found murdered in Station Road area under Gafargaon upazila early yesterday. The deceased was Pappu Miah, 22, son of late Abdul Khaleque of Gafargaon municipality. Informed by locals, police recovered the body from the area and sent it to a hospital morgue for autopsy. The body bore several injury marks, said Mahbub Alam, officer-in-charge of Gafargaon Police Station. He was accused in a case for drug trading, said the OC.
