'JMB man' arrested

Detectives arrested a suspected member of banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Khakchapara village in Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila yesterday.

The arrestee is Mizanur Rahman alias Palash, 28, son of Rafiqul Islam of Angariapara Moholla in Chapainawabganj municipality area.

Inspector Hamidur Rashid of Chapainawabganj DB police said on secret information, they arrested Palash from the village around 3:30am.

He is a fugitive accused in two cases filed with Sadar Model Police Station, said the inspector.
