Indian goods recovered

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized a truck laden with Indian goods from Murarikati area in Kolaroa upazila of the district early Monday. Lt Col Arman Hossain, commanding officer of BGB-38 Battalion, said a patrol team of the border guards, led by Habildar Abdul Barek, chased the truck in the area early morning. At one stage, the trucker fled the scene, leaving the vehicle. Later, the BGB members recovered Indian goods, including three pieces, sarees and limestone, from the truck. The value of seized goods is around Tk 2.50 crore.
