Human chain for Nusrat in Jashore

A human chain program was held in Jashore town this morning demanding execution of Nusrat Jahan Rafi’s killers.

The program took place in the city's Netaji Subhash Chandra road, our Benapole correspondent reports.

Representatives from different political parties, private development organisations, civil society and journalists, participated in the human chain.

The speakers said that the killers of Nusrat must be brought to justice. This type of incident will continue to happen if trials are not sped up.

Senior journalist Prof Santosh Haldar, District CPB President Rukunuddaulah, Central Member of the Sammilita Sangskritik Jote Abul Hossain, President of Jashore District Samilito Jote Prof Sukumar Das, General Secretary of Shilpakala Shahiduzzaman were among the present.
