Housewife murdered

Police recovered the body of a housewife from her house at Laxmi Mondop village in Kahaloo upazila of the district yesterday. The deceased was Modina Begum, 22, second wife of Abdul Kuddus of the village. Police said Kuddus and his first wife tortured Modian to death on Wednesday night. The body was sent to Shaheed Zaiur Rahman Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. Kuddus and first wife went into hiding soon after the incident, said Sub-Inspector of Kahaloo Police Station Zakir Hossain.
