Gunpower seized in C'nawabganj

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 3.6 kg of gunpowder from a boat at Namo Jagannathpur village in Shibganj upazila of the district yesterday.

On secret information, the border guards raided the boat in Namo Jagannathpur area at the village and seized the gunpowder.

However, none was arrested in this connection, said SM Abul Ehsan, commanding officer of BGB-9 Battalion.
