Graft case: BNP leader Nasir’s son Helaluddin sent to jail after surrender

A Dhaka court today sent Mir Mohammad Helaluddin, son of former BNP state minister for civil aviation Mir Mohammad Nasiruddin, to jail after he surrendered in a corruption case in which he was sentenced to three years imprisonment.

Judge SM Ruhul Imran of the Special Judge Court-2 of Dhaka passed the order after his lawyer Masud Ahmed Talukder submitted a petition seeking bail in the case.
