Girl commits 'suicide'

A teenage girl allegedly committed suicide at Jahapur village in Alamdanga upazila of Chuadanga district on Tuesday night. The deceased is Tahmina Khatun, 18, daughter of Bahar Ali of the village. Moshiur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Alamdanga Police Station, said the girl hanged herself from the ceiling of her room following an altercation with her mother over a family matter.
