Fugitive convict held

Police on Monday arrested a fugitive convict in a case for peddling drug at Sardarpara in Dupchanchia municipality of the district. Arrestee Enamul Haque, 30, son of late Abul Sheikh of the area, was jailed for two years. Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided the house of Enamul and arrested him early in the morning, said Nazrul Islam, officer-in-charge of Dupchanchia Police Station.
