Four cows burnt alive

Four cows were burnt alive in a fire under Kaharol upazila of the district early yesterday. A fire broke out at the house of Jalal Uddin at Nayabad Asampara in the upazila around 1:00am and soon engulfed the adjacent four houses. On information, firefighters rushed to the spot and doused the flame. Jalal Uddin said the fire originated from an electric short circuit. Md Wadood, senior station officer of Dinajpur Fire Station, confirmed the fire incident.
