Food factory fined Tk 20,000

A mobile court yesterday fined a food factory Tk 20,000 at Nungola village in Gomostapur upazila of the district for producing adulterated soft drinks. The court led by Executive Magistrate Mamunur Rashid and a team of Rab-5 of Chapainawabganj camp went to Nungola village at around 10:45am and found that the factory was producing adulterated soft drinks without any licence. The court fined its owner, Mohammad Ali Panna, 48.
