Fog disrupts ferry service

Ferry service on Paturia-Daulatdia route resumed around 9:10am yesterday after nearly 2 hours of disruption caused by the dense fog. Mahiuddin Russel, manager of BIWTA's Aricha station, said the authority stopped the ferry service around 7:00am yesterday due to blurred visibility and the service resumed around 9:10am after the fog was cleared. Around 500 vehicles remained stranded in the mid-river and on both ends of the route due to the situation, he added.
