Firearm, bullets seized

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized a foreign made pistol, four bullets and a magazine from a field near the Punorbhaba River at Tiklyrghat village in Gomostapur upazila on Friday. The border guards, acting on a tip-off, raided the field in the evening and seized the firearm and bullets. None was arrested in this connection, said Lt Col Zahid Hasan, commanding officer of BGB-43 Battalion.
