Filling station sealed off

A mobile court yesterday sealed off a petrol-refuelling station at Gobindanagar in Thakurgaon municipality.

Following complaints from motor-bike owners, the court conducted a drive at the re-fuelling station titled 'Surma Filling Station', Executive Magistrate Mahbubul Rahman, who led the mobile court, told this correspondent over cell phone.

As anomalies were found in primarily investigation, the court sealed off the station and collected sample for sending it to BSTI for quality test, he said, adding that legal steps will be taken if the people concerned are guilty.
