Elephants kill two in Rangamati

Two people were killed and another was injured in an attack by wild elephants at Shiber Aga village in Longodu upazila of the district yesterday.

The deceased were identified as Mozammel Hossain and Nurul Haque.

Abdul Gaffur Chowdhury, chairman of Bogachotor Union Parishd, said a herd of wild elephants stormed the houses of the area in the early morning, killing the two.

The animals also damaged three houses in the area.
