Drug peddler jailed

A mobile court here on Wednesday sentenced a drug peddler to six months' imprisonment. The convict is Naim Mia, 23, son of Fazar Ali of Mohadebpur village in Shivalaya upazila. Inspector of Narcotics Department in the district Md Saiful Islam said they seized 30 Yaba tablets from the house of Naim at noon. Later, he was produced before the court, led by Upazila Nirbahi Officer AKM Galib Khan, which punished him.
