Drug peddler jailed

A mobile court sentenced a drug peddler to three months' imprisonment in Khansama upazila of the district on Tuesday. The convict is Habibur Rahman, 28, son of Entaz Uddin of Dhunat village in the upazila. Police arrested Habibur with liquor from Suborna Khuli village on Tuesday night. He was later produced before the court, led by Executive Magistrate Sajebur Rahman, which punished him, said Krishna Chandra Sarker, officer-in-charge of Khansama Police Station.
