Drug addict handed over to police

A mother handed over her drug addict son to police in Khetlal upazila of Joypurhat district yesterday. Police arrested Bappy Hasan, 25, son of Abdul Samad of Munsipara village in the upazila and later produced him in a mobile court.The court, led by Sadequl Islam, assistant commissioner (land) of Khetlal upazila and also the executive magistrate, sentenced him to one month's imprisonment.
