DoE fines six brick kilns Tk 10 lakh in Rangpur

The Department of Environment has fined six brick kilns Tk 10 lakh for running their businesses without clearance certificates and permission.

The Department of Environment and the district administration jointly conducted a mobile court today at Mithapukur upazila of Rangpur and imposed the fines.

The mobile court, led by Rangpur Deputy Commissioner Office's Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Mahmud Hasan Mridha, conducted the drive in which DoE Rangpur District Office's Assistant Director Yusuf Ali also took part.

ASB brick kiln was fined Tk 1.5 lakh, TDA brick kiln fined for Tk 2 lakh, Rani brick kiln Tk 50,000, AFT brick kiln Tk 2 lakh, MH brick kiln Tk 1.5 lakh and MTS brick kiln was fined for Tk 2.5 lakh.
