Directorate of registration collects Tk 690 crore as revenue in July

The Directorate of Registration has collected Tk 690 crore as revenue through conducting registrations of a total of 2,71,657 deeds between July 1 and July 30.

Inspector General of Registration (IGR) Shahidul Alarm Jhinuk sent a letter to the law ministry today, saying that the sub-registry offices across the country have completed the registrations of the deeds amid the coronavirus pandemic, strictly following health guidelines, and collected Tk 689.66 crore as revenue since July 1 to July 30.

He also said in the letter that a total of 50 officials and staff members under the Directorate of Registration have been infected with Covid-19 and most of them have recovered from the infection.
