College girl raped at school in Rangamati, headmaster sued in rape case

A rape case has been filed against a headmaster for raping a college student at Langadu upazila of Rangamati.

The rape survivor's mother filed the rape case with Langadu police station against the Headmaster Abdur Rahim who is on the run now for raping her daughter at a room of a school, reports our local correspondent quoting Syed Mohammad Noor, officer-in-charge of the police facility.

The plaintiff said that her 16-year old daughter went to Karllyachhari High School for grazing a goat on September 25.

Later, the headmaster of the school Abdur Rahim called her daughter to a room of the school and raped her there.

The headmaster threatened the girl with dire consequences if she revealed the matter to anyone, the plaintiff said.

OC Noor said they sent the girl to Rangamati General Hospital for medical examination and police are trying their best to catch the headmaster.
