Circus performer electrocuted

A circus performer was electrocuted in Akkelpur upazila of Joypurhat district on Tuesday.  The dead is Morium Begum, 25, wife of Sazzad Hossain of Shob village under Lalpur upazila of Natore district. Police said Morium came in contact with a live electric wire while she was performing at Gopinathpur Mela (fair) in the area at night. She was rushed to the upazila health complex where the on-duty doctor declared her dead.
