BSF returns two youths

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) returned two Bangladeshi youths yesterday five hours after their detention in Birampur upazila of the district. The arrestees are Aminur Rahman, 18, son of Shamsul Haque, and Mamunur Rahman, 25, son of Nazimuddin of Damadarpur village in the upazila. Family members said BSF picked up the two around 11:30am when they went to the India-Bangladesh border area in the upazila. Being informed, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) urged their counterpart to return the youths. Later, BSF handed over the two through a flag meeting, said Lt Col Korban Ali, commanding officer of BGB-29 Battalion.
