Boy hurt in bomb blast

A schoolboy was injured in a bomb blast at Kashimpur village in Jhikargachha upazila of Jessore district on Monday. The victim is Raihan Hossain, 11, a Class V student of Kashimpur Government Primary School, and son of Jakir Hossain of the village. Abdul Aziz, sub-inspector of Jhikargachha Police Station, said Raihan found a pot wrapped in red tape in the afternoon while he was returning home from school. Later, the crude bomb exploded when the boy tried to uncover the pot. He was rushed to Jessore Medical College Hospital.
