Boy commits 'suicide'

A teenage boy allegedly committed suicide at his house in Babupara area of the city yesterday. The dead is Hridoy, 14, son of Abdul Matin of the area. Police and family sources said Hridoy took his life by hanging himself from the ceiling of his room at around 3:00pm. The reason behind the suicide could not be known immediately, said Md Abdul Qader Jilani, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
